According to KITV, the encounter happened at about 7:57 a.m. when the man walked up to the teen near her high school and allegedly tried to take her by the hand to lead her away. KITV reports that the suspect is described as a Caucasian male, about 18 to 20 years old, roughly 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, with a slim build, fair skin, short dirty-blond hair, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans. The outlet also pointed to a separate case involving two suspects who allegedly tried to lure a 14-year-old into a car near Kakaako, highlighting police worries about similar attempts across the island.
