KAHUKU, Hawaii (Island News) — The 45-year-old man who shot a woman in the back in Kahuku last May was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Thursday.
Ikaika Reed, 45, was found guilty of shooting a 30-year-old woman in Kahuku, early in the morning on May 21, 2025. According to police, Reed was sitting in a car with the woman when he shot her in the back.
Following the altercation, the woman who was shot was driven by witnesses to Kahuku Hospital, and Reed fled from the scene on foot…
