Waianae residents question lack of shelter during homeless sweep, storm

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A homeless sweep in Waianae on Friday is raising concerns after it occurred just one day before a weekend storm.

Despite dangerous weather, no additional emergency shelters were opened, leaving some unhoused residents with nowhere to go.
