Sandwich lovers on Oahu’s west side have a new option with Capriotti’s opening its second Oahu location in Kapolei on Tuesday. Known nationally for its Bobbie and Capastrami sandwiches, the shop at 890 Kamokila Blvd Unit 102 is owned by local restaurateur Soojung Heu, who also runs Capriotti’s Honolulu, bringing the chain’s award-winning subs and cheesesteaks closer to residents.
In a press release via PR Newswire, Capriotti’s said the Kapolei store will roll out order‑ahead pickup, online ordering, third‑party delivery and catering for events. “I’m grateful to continue growing Capriotti’s on Oahu and bring a concept I truly believe in to Kapolei,” Heu said in the release.
The brand first landed on Oahu in 2023 with a Kahala location at Kūʻono Marketplace, and the owners told Hawaii News Now that customers were driving in from Mililani and Kapolei to the Honolulu shop. That early demand from the west side, they said, helped make the case for expanding into Kapolei.
Menu And Rewards
Capriotti’s menu centers on the Bobbie, a slow‑roasted turkey sandwich stacked with cranberry and stuffing, along with the Capastrami and premium cheesesteaks that can be ordered with Snake River Farms Wagyu beef or Impossible plant‑based meat, according to PR Newswire. Oahu diners can join Capriotti’s rewards program online or through the brand’s app to earn points, free items and access to local promotions.
Kapolei’s Growing Food Scene

The Kapolei Capriotti’s is also listed on delivery platforms with store hours starting at 10 a.m., according to its listing on Uber Eats, which should make weekday lunches and catering pickups easier for nearby businesses…
