WAIANAE, Hawaii (Island News) – An investigation is underway following an apparent armed robbery incident that occurred in Waianae on Wednesday morning.
The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) reported that the incident happened at approximately 6:20 a.m. when a 34-year-old man, who was working in Waianae, was approached by two masked suspects. They brandished handguns and demanded the man’s keys.
The two masked suspects left the scene in the 34-year-old’s 2019 Mercedes work van, with a white utility truck following. Officers were able to locate the vehicle on Waianae Valley Road. The stolen van was then recovered…
