HONOLULU (Island News) — Strong winds continue across Hawaiʻi and are expected to last through Thursday morning.
Wind speeds have been very high, especially in mountain areas and channels, with gusts reaching up to 50 miles per hour or more in some places. The winds will slowly begin to ease later Thursday, but breezy conditions will continue into the rest of the week.
Right now, clouds and light showers are mostly affecting windward and mountain areas, and that pattern is expected to continue for the next few days. Leeward areas will see fewer showers and more dry weather…
