HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Police Department has opened an investigation into an armed robbery at Tantalus Lookout.
HPD: Shots fired in armed burglary at Mapunapuna gym
On Friday, Feb. 20, at 11:08 p.m., HPD said a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were seated in a white 2017 Ford Mustang when two men approached them with a black handgun.
One of the suspects was holding the handgun, demanding that the man hand over his belongings. The armed suspect hit the man in the head with the gun and tried to get into the driver’s seat, authorities said.
Police said a struggle broke out before both suspects fled the scene on foot down Round Top Drive. The man was reported to be injured following the incident…
