KAIMUKI, Hawaii (KHON2) — Changes are coming to a highly-trafficked off-ramp and intersections along the H-1 Freeway.
Transportation officials said there have been over 12 serious crashes near the Koko Head offramp in recent years.

Scott Choy lives right across the street from the Koko Head offramp and said he has had several rude awakenings since he moved in.
“Some mornings I come out, and I just see this light pole lying down on the street, and something has happened. Other times, I can actually hear what’s going on, and you just hear like a brake, a screech and then a crash,” Choy said…
