EWA BEACH, Hawaii (Island News) — A 64-year-old man was found guilty on Wednesday of ramming his car into a man’s car and shooting him with a shotgun at Kalaeloa Beach Park in Aug. 2023.
Kenneth Kaleikini, 64, was found guilty of an incident at the Kalaeloa Beach Park access parking lot in Ewa Beach on Aug. 14, 2023 where he targeted a man with his car and firearm. Kalekini drove towards a man, who was unsheltered and standing near his vehicle, and intentionally rammed into his car twice. He got out of his car with a shotgun and pointed it at the victim.
During the confrontation, another man approached the victim and tried to fight him. As the victim defended himself, Kaleikini continued to aim the shotgun at him and threatened to kill him. The victim tried to get away from the beach and Kalekini, but he was shot on the left side of his body after Kalekini fired his shotgun…
