According to the AAA Hawaiʻi Weekend Gas Watch, the statewide average for regular unleaded is $4.40 a gallon as of 9 a.m. Feb. 26. That is the same as last week and 15 cents lower than one year ago.
The national average stands at $2.98. That is six cents higher than last week and 15 cents lower than this time last year.
