82-year-old identified in fatal Punahou pedestrian crash

HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office (ME) have identified the elderly woman who died in a pedestrian crash that occurred in the Punahou area on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

ME Officials identified the 82-year-old woman as Kin Leung Lau from Honolulu. They reported that her cause of death was due to complications of multiple blunt force injuries. Officials also classified the manner of her death as an accident.
