Honolulu police say Robbery Detail detectives have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with a recent string of robberies in Waikīkī and believe he is part of a group behind multiple cases. The arrest stems from a robbery last Thursday in which force was used to take a victim’s property, and investigators say they expect to make additional arrests as the investigation moves forward.
