Driver arrested after crash with police car at Sandy Beach

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A man was arrested and accused of ramming his vehicle into a police car.

The incident happened at Sandy Beach around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Mar. 6, where officers responded to a report of a man threatening someone with a handgun.

Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and did a traffic stop. When they say he reversed and rammed an unoccupied police car.
