A Hawaii man is accused of killing his girlfriend, stealing her car and then stabbing his estranged wife while out of jail on a furlough.

The Honolulu Police Department said John Nihipali Sr. is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree burglary and second-degree escape.
