Counties ask residents, businesses to report storm damage

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii’s counties are asking residents and businesses to report damage from the kona storm.

Honolulu

The City and County of Honolulu has released an online form for residents to self-report damage to their homes from severe weather in areas across Oahu.

It’s for county officials and partners to better understand the damage that occurred and the community impacts.

It is not an application for relief programs or services.

Hawaii Island

The County of Hawaii says residents should contact their insurance agent and document damaged property with photos before beginning cleanup…
