‘By far the worst’: Waimanalo farmer faces cleanup after storm damage

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A local farm faced significant cleanup after strong winds and heavy rain from the Kona storm caused widespread damage Saturday.

Dominic Kadooka, one of Waimanalo Country Farms’ owners, arrived to find snapped trees across the property entrance, with several structures damaged.

“On the way to the farm, we already knew there was going to be some major cleaning up to do without even seeing it,” Kadooka said. “This storm was by far the worst that we’ve ever seen.”
