A 30-year-old man is facing a first-degree robbery charge after what police describe as a late-night theft at a Waikīkī store turned threatening. Officers say the suspect, identified as Jack Levinson, stole items from the shop around 11:25 p.m. Saturday and pulled out a dangerous object when he was confronted. He was arrested the next day along Beach Road near the Diamond Head lighthouse, and prosecutors requested bail at $100,000.
