HONOLULU (Island News) – A city bus driver died from his injuries after a bus collided with a tree in Liliha on Tuesday morning.
The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responded to the scene of the incident, which occurred at approximately 7 a.m. at the intersection of Pua Lane and N. Vineyard Boulevard.
HFD reported that the incident occurred when a city bus, that was traveling westbound near the N. Vineyard Boulevard and Pua Lane intersection, collided with a tree at approximately 7:09 a.m.
