Ex-Howard Hughes Chief’s Waiea Sky Villa Hits Honolulu Auction Block

Former Howard Hughes Corporation CEO David Weinreb is sending his personal Waiea residence in Ward Village to auction this spring, putting a five-level, roughly 7,000-square-foot Honolulu villa on the block. The home at 1118 Ala Moana Boulevard is listed at $13.8 million and features a private pool, sweeping ocean views from every level and four parking spaces. Concierge Auctions is handling the sale, with an online bidding window set to open March 26 and wrap up April 9, 2026.

According to a press release via Weekly Voice, Concierge Auctions is positioning the listing as a showcase for its new Developer Services division and notes that Weinreb selected the Waiea villa as his own residence. The release quotes Concierge Auctions co-founder Chad Roffers calling Waiea “its crown jewel” and says the firm plans to tap a database of pre-verified, high-net-worth buyers to accelerate a sale to a global audience.
