‘Run for America’ campaigner Noah Coughlan approaches finish line in Hawaii

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Noah Coughlan is on his fifth and final journey running across the country, and is well on his way to a major accomplishment—becoming only the third person in history to run across all 50 states.

Coughlan’s journey began in 2011 with his “Run for Research” campaign, followed by “Run for Research: II” in 2013. In 2015, he completed “Run for Rare,” and in 2023, “Run for Revival: A Tribute to the American Soldier.” These were all before his fifth and final campaign, “Run for America,” which started in October 2025 in Maine and continues to the present day, with each run supporting a different cause.

North Dakota FBLA chapter kicks off with 1300 students

As he approaches the halfway point of his final run, stopping in Bismarck, North Dakota, he made a pit stop with the Good Day Dakota crew before continuing west, sharing his experience so far and how he pushes through weather, mental challenges, and more.

To keep up with Noah Coughlan as he continues his journey across the country—on track to reach his finish line in Honolulu, Hawaii, on July 4th this year—you can follow his story, updates, and more at Run For America.
