Rail construction moving into Iwilei after first column completion for segment 3

HONOLULU (Island News) — “Rail construction is heading into town very, very quickly,” said Tyler Dos Santos-Tam, Honolulu City Council member for District 6.

After completing the first column for this next segment, crews are preparing to move into the Iwilei area, bringing major changes along with it.

At a recent community meeting, residents shared mixed emotions, supporting the project, but frustrated with the process.
