KANEOHE (HawaiiNewsNow) – A community event is being held Saturday to grow and celebrate Native Hawaiian plants.
Kamehameha Schools and Windward Mall are hosting the third annual Hooulu Heeia on April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the mall’s Center Court. The event is part of Native Hawaiian Plant Month and encourages families to grow and care for laau Hawaii.
