SALT LAKE, Hawaii (Island News) — A 40-year-old man was arrested in Salt Lake on Thursday afternoon and charged following a kidnapping incident where he allegedly assaulted a woman in late March.
The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) said District 1 patrol officers, who cover the Downtown Honolulu area, responded to a parking enforcement officer’s request for help at 9:42 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in a domestic argument.
