NANAKULI, Hawaii (Island News) – A reported 24-inch water main break resulted in a major road closure in Nanakuli on Sunday afternoon.
The City and County of Honolulu reported at 2:40 p.m., that a Board of Water Supply (BWS) troubleshooter responded to a reported water main break on Farrington Hwy near Black Rocks Beach Park.
The vital 24-inch water main provides the Leeward Coast with approximately 60% of its water supply. The main will not be in service while crews make repairs. All residents from Honokai Hale to Makaha are advised to conserve water and only use it for essential needs only…
