EWA, Oahu (KHON2) — With more wet weather on the way, the City is working to clear as many canals as possible, including one located on Fort Weaver Road, where crews finished clearing sand from Monday morning.
But Ewa residents say their entire community has been stepping up as well.
“Those lessons are fresh in our mind,” said John Clark III, Ewa Neighborhood Board chair, on what the community learned following the previous spell of wet weather. “I believe that as a community we can better prepare this time based upon those lessons that we’ve learned.”…
