24-inch water main break fixed, Farrington Hwy Lanes reopening

NANAKULI, Hawaii (Island News) –.Repairs have been completed on the 24-inch water main break in Nanakuli, which caused major road closures over the weekend and into Monday.

The City and County of Honolulu reported at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, that a Board of Water Supply (BWS) troubleshooter responded to a reported water main break on Farrington Hwy near Black Rocks Beach Park.

The vital 24-inch water main provides the Leeward Coast with approximately 60% of its water supply. All residents from Honokai Hale to Makaha were advised to conserve water and only use it for essential needs only…
