HONOLULU (KHON2) — If you want to avoid a nightmare, the City and County of Honolulu is urging residents to properly transfer the title of a vehicle sale, especially as new technology has hit our streets.
“It has always been important, but we are seeing an increase in appeals of the transfer process,” said Department of Customer Services information specialist Bill Powers. “With the current automated enforcement cameras for red light and speeding infractions issuing citations, the owner of the vehicle receives the citation. So to avoid receiving a ticket, the transfer must be done correctly and completely.”
