Waikiki Aquarium hosts free event

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The public is invited to the Waikiki Aquarium for the 19th Annual Mauka to Makai Environmental Expo.

“It’s Earth Month, so we want everyone to celebrate and swing by this family-friendly event that highlights the importance of keeping Hawaii clean and free of pollution, from the mountaintops to the ocean,” said City and County of Honolulu Storm Water Quality Division communications specialist Schahryar Tariq, “We have more than a dozen nonprofit, local, state, and federal organizations joining us to make this a really fun and educational day with plenty of activities to keep learners of all ages engaged. Some of those organizations include Malama Maunalua, SeaGrant & SeaGrant Hanauma Bay, and so much more!”
