HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu City Councilmember Andria Tupola advanced a resolution to committee on April 29 that would create an “End Landfills Task Force” for the county.
Resolution 26-007 designed the task force to look at the feasibility, costs, risks and pathways associated with eliminating landfill dependency on Oʻahu. The resolution is set to be heard at the Committee on International and Legal Affairs.
