HONOLULU (KHON2) – Students at Waipahu High School are growing lettuce in their school garden and serving it to their peers for lunch. It’s a process that’s worthwhile.
After growing the lettuce, they had to figure out how to get the proper food certification and how much the cafeteria needs to meet supply and demand.
