HONOLULU (KHON) – These days, making a payment can be easier than ever with contactless and even cardless transactions, but in some cases, so can scamming.
“Ghost tapping is kind of like the digital version of someone bumping your wallet, except for instead of them stealing your card, they’re kind of taking advantage of this short-range wireless payment feature,” said Attila Seress, Cypac Deep Cybersecurity owner.
