A Houston jeweler whose clients include NBA and NFL celebrities has been indicted on federal charges over allegations he used his business to launder and export gold acquired by a network of scammers targeting older people.
Zohaib Muhammad and three other people were arrested May 12 on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
