HOUSTON – Thousands of customers were without electricity Wednesday morning when storms moved across the Houston area.
CenterPoint said it has restored 56,000 customers since weather impacts started around 1 a.m. The company said as of 5 a.m., 99% of its electric customers have power.
“Our Emergency Operations Center is activated and our enhanced workforce of more than 2,000 frontline personnel and contractors will continue working to restore power to all impacted customers,” CenterPoint says…
