A man has made his first court appearance after endangering a child and assaulting an officer in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
Officials said that Rodolfo Vedey-Alvarez has been charged with evading arrest and endangering a child after an incident on the evening of June 6.
According to HPD, a witness told officers that at about 8:30 p.m., a woman was walking in the road near the 6600 block of West Sam Houston Parkway when a blue Honda Accord pulled up alongside her.
