HOUSTON, Texas — A suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at 10055 Belknap Road on June 6 has been apprehended.
Axzey Mojica, a 22-year-old, is charged with murder in Fort Bend County, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department (HPD). Another suspect, 23-year-old Iddris Umaru, suffered a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound as law enforcement officers attempted to take him into custody. Umaru was also charged with murder in Fort Bend County.
The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Sean Bree. HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Smith and D. Toledo reported that HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of a strip center at the above address and found a male with a gunshot wound.
