PEARLAND, Texas (CW39) – Pearland police are asking the public to help identify the remaining suspect in an aggravated robbery that left a 79-year-old man injured after he withdrew cash from an ATM. Investigators say two people have already been arrested, but detectives are still searching for the man accused of attacking the victim and taking his wallet and cash.

What happened?
According to the Pearland Police Department, it was June 19 when they arrived to investigate robbery at the Walgreens along Shadow Creek Parkway and south Kirby. Investigators said a 79-year-old man had just withdrawn cash from a nearby ATM and was returning to his vehicle when he was approached by the suspect caught on camera. Police said the accused suspect assaulted the elderly man, injuring him and leaving him on the ground, before stealing his wallet with the cash he had just withdrawn.
What do investigators know about the suspect?
Police describe the suspect as a Black man who was wearing a white shirt and black pants at the time of the robbery. Detectives say he is believed to be the person who physically attacked the victim before running. Investigators are hoping someone will help identify him from the video released.
Who has already been arrested?
As the investigation continued, detectives identified two more people they say were involved in the same robbery.
Police arrested Donte Belle, 30, of Houston, who investigators identified as the alleged driver of the getaway vehicle. He has been charged with aggravated robbery. Authorities also arrested Demondtra Moore, 23, of Houston, who detectives identified as the alleged lookout. He has also been charged with aggravated robbery.
The investigation into the third suspect remains active as the search continues.
