White Linen Night returns to the Heights with live music, local artists, food, shopping and entertainment, turning West 19th Street into a walkable street festival.

What is White Linen Night?
White Linen Night is an annual street festival inspired by the New Orleans tradition of the same name, where attendees wear white while spending a summer evening outdoors. The Heights version began in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina, when New Orleans transplants introduced the event to Houston. What started as a neighborhood gathering has since grown into one of the city’s best-known summer festivals.

White Linen Night takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.
