HOUSTON, TX — A late-night wreck in northwest Houston left a 30-year-old woman dead and a 30-year-old man in critical condition after a pickup hit a tree on Ella Boulevard.
Houston police say the truck appeared to be moving at a high rate of speed before the driver lost control.
The Crash
Investigators say the blue Ford F-150 was headed north on Ella toward Pinemont Drive when it crashed around 12:16 a.m. on July 9.
The impact with the tree was severe.
