Over the next few weeks, school bells will be ringing all over the state of Texas. Even before the first day, we already have some controversy from one school district over a policy.
My mom worked for elementary schools my entire life. So I know how hard teachers work. In the social media age, teachers have started posting classroom wish lists. Many just use Amazon for things that they need for their classroom for the coming year. I would say it’s a fairly common thing and I don’t think anybody really has a problem with it. Except one school district in Texas.

We need to have a conversation about CyFair ISD’s control issues. Because why on God’s green earth can’t these teachers create their own wishlists for THEIR classrooms and post/share it publicly?! This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of! GOD FORBID, the community wants to help support our underpaid and overworked teachers and support these students so they can have the best learning environment and supplies needed to be successful EDIT: this seems to be enforced different campus by campus but has been confirmed by many teachers in the comments that this in fact is the case. #cyfair#cyfairisd#teachersoftiktok#teacherwishlist#houston
