A man is dead after his SUV veered off the road and ended up upside down in a retention pond, according to Harris County officials.
The crash happened on Sunday afternoon near the Grand Parkway and Northcrest Drive, authorities said.
HCSO reported the 51-year-old was driving a Nissan Rogue when witnesses said he drifted off the Grand Parkway and eventually over an embankment into the water.
