Man Allegedly Crashes Stolen BMW Before Trying to Steal Multiple Cars Like He’s in a GTA Online Lobby

Hearing about suspects attempting to steal one car is unfortunately normal. But 40-year-old Jermane Middleton allegedly decided to go on an entire rampage on September 16. Everything started when he allegedly stole a BMW from a bank parking lot in southwest Houston. According to reports, he allegedly ordered the two people who were already inside to leave the vehicle before driving away.

Unfortunately for the suspect, he didn’t really make it too far. He crashed into vehicles at Highway 90 and Promenade in Stafford, forcing him to leave the BMW. Middleton’s car rampage didn’t end there, because he allegedly attempted to take a woman’s vehicle, though he was unsuccessful.

That’s when he approached a 76-year-old man to take his car instead. Middleton allegedly shoved the car’s original owner to the ground and attempted to drive away, but the car wouldn’t start because the owner’s phone was connected and he had called 911. This prompted the alleged suspect to try running on foot.

He made it to a Frost Bank, where he got into a running vehicle while the owner’s 10-year-old son was still reportedly inside. The child escaped and alerted his mother, who apparently pulled Middleton from the vehicle, forcing him to run away yet again…
