Sugar Land drivers should brace for another weekend of US-59/I-69 trouble as TxDOT closes northbound main lanes for bridge maintenance.
The closure will affect the northbound lanes between Exit 111 and Kirkwood Road beginning Friday at 9 p.m., according to the City of Sugar Land. Traffic will be detoured to the frontage road at Exit 111 and allowed to re-enter near South Kirkwood Road.
The closure is expected to remain in place until Monday at 5 a.m.
