A Spring High School student has died after being hit while attempting to cross the North Freeway, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies told Eyewitness News the incident happened on I-45 near Louetta Road on Friday afternoon. In a tragic update on Saturday, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared that the 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital.
