A Spring ISD student is dead following a shooting that occurred near Westfield High School on Tuesday afternoon, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Sadly, the teen male was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Our condolences go out to the family.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened just before 3 p.m. at the sidewalk area adjacent to Westfield High School and Spring ISD building. Authorities say that there were not many students on campus at the time of the shooting.
