A Baker Hughes employee accuses the Houston company of retaliating against her because she filed for workers compensation after a superior allegedly told her to stick her head in multiple frac tanks.
Theresia Breen, of Wyoming, filed the lawsuit in Harris County this week, court records show. Breen’s Houston-based attorneys say that shortly after she joined the energy tech and oil field services giant in October 2024 as a business development manager, a “high-level employee” told her to put her head in several frac tanks during a training tour of one of Baker Hughes’ Wyoming facilities, according to the lawsuit. Putting her head in the tanks was supposed to help Breen see the content and structure of them, the lawsuit states.
