Located an hour and a half north of Houston, the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe is the oldest Indian reservation in Texas and they announced some big plans. The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas boasts a unique story dating back to before the 1700s according to their website. The Tribe operates on the oldest reservation in the state located on approximately 10,200 acres in the Big Thicket of Deep East Texas.
