Texas Casual Dining Takes a Hit: Hooters Shutters Six Locations
In the face of a challenging operating environment, Hooters has shuttered six locations in Texas. The closure is part of a broader trend affecting casual dining chains, which are grappling with high operational costs and increasingly selective consumers.
“Like many restaurants under pressure from current market conditions, Hooters has made the difficult decision to close a select number of underperforming stores,” the company stated. “Ensuring the well-being of our staff is our priority in these rare instances.”
