The Cigna Group Foundation has announced the launch of a three-year, $9 million fund dedicated to reducing health disparities. With a focus on specific geographies where health disparities are significant, the Cigna Group Health Equity Impact Fund will collaborate with nonprofit organizations working to address root causes of health inequities. To that end, the fund will operate on a hyper-local level in cities located within the Cigna Group’s priority areas, starting with Hartford, Connecticut, and Houston.
