19 confirmed West Nile virus human cases reported in Harris County, health officials say Aerial spraying scheduled this weekend

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County announced Friday that they will begin aerial spraying for mosquitos this weekend as West Nile virus human cases increase. Harris County Public Health said there are now 19 human cases of the virus which is more than double the previously reported total of seven cases. These cases are outside of the Houston city limits, in the unincorporated areas of Harris County.
