Tarrant County is Seeing a Spike in West Nile Virus Activity

(WBAP/KLIF) – TARRANT COUNTY – Tarrant County health officials have reported, 28 human cases, 24 hospitalizations, and one death from the West Nile Virus. Officials are concerned that most family and sporting activities take place during prime mosquito activity times. Experts have stated that to help keep the mosquitoes at bay it’s best to drain pools of standing water, and to wear long, light colored clothes and repellent with DEET.
